Stephanie completed her undergraduate training at Charles Sturt University, Bathurst, followed by her postgraduate training at Western Sydney University (formerly UWS). She has completed further training in Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) for chronic pain, Schema-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness and Mentalisation-Based Treatment.
Stephanie is registered to practice as a Clinical Psychologist in NSW and is registered as a provider of Clinical Psychology services with Medicare and also with WorkCover. She is a member of the Australian Psychological Society College of Clinical Psychologists.
Stephanie has experience in a variety of settings, including community mental health, Eating Disorder Day Treatment Programme – formerly Sydney West AHS – (assessing, diagnosing and treating those with an eating disorder; running eating disorder groups; providing outpatient services; conducting research; running family education sessions; and providing education sessions for Allied Health and medical staff within Westmead and Cumberland Hospitals). Stephanie has also worked extensively in private practice treating a range of disorders including anxiety disorders, depression, PTSD, complex PTSD, paraphilias and other chronic mental health conditions. She has experience working with clients with chronic health conditions. More recently, Stephanie has worked within a pain management service (public health) providing assessment, psychological intervention to outpatients and running components of a group pain programme.
