Dr Datta has been working in Addiction Medicine since 2011, when he started working for the Pennine Care Hospitals NHS Trust in the UK. When he moved to Australia, he underwent further training and became the fellow of the Chapter of Addiction Medicine of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. He also works as a Staff Specialist in Addiction Medicine for the Nepean Blue Mountains LHD.
Dr Datta offers holistic care in the field of addiction medicine with the support of a multidisciplinary team. He has a keen interest in Opioid Treatment Program and fitness for driving assessments.
Dr Datta also has extensive experience in working in primary care for over ten years in the NHS (UK) and for 4 years in Australia.
He also has a special interest in teaching and training and is a Clinical Lecturer in the faculty of Medicine, University of Sydney.
